Happy Thanksgiving!

Since Eucharist is the Greek word for "Thanksgiving," it's no wonder why many families go to Mass on Thanksgiving, even though it's not a Holy Day of Obligation. It's a good way to give the holiday its proper Christian context. 

It is good to be reminded of all the blessings in our lives, but none more so than the ultimate gift of Christ, Himself.
