The Angels are Coming ...

The Angels are coming ...

The Archangel Gabriel appears to Zechariah to announce the birth of his son, John the Baptist (Luke 1:11-19).

Gabriel next appears in Galilee to the Virgin Mary, saying, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!" The angel announced the conception of her Son and the coming of the Messiah.

Next, the angels appear to some of the poorest and most marginalized classes of people in First Century Israel: the Shepherds (Luke 2:9-15). The angels do not present themselves before the thrones and dominions, before Herod and the Roman officials, but to the poor sheep herders.

To these, the herald angels sing in chorus, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men" (Luke 2:14). Soon, we, too, will be singing the Gloria at the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord.

Beautiful reflection. The way the angels appear first to the humble and overlooked says so much about the heart of the story. It’s powerful to remember that the message of hope and peace was given to ordinary people first. Truly a moving reminder of what the Nativity means.

Hi! While working on algebra in Liverpool, I needed help figuring out tricky percentages. I wanted a site that guides you slowly through each step. how to summarize with notegpt AI provided step-by-step solutions and even suggested similar problems to practice. It also offers advice for faster calculations. I enjoyed how simple it made understanding math without just giving answers.
